are we
Ciao we are Asya and Marco.
We live in Marciaga with our children where we manage our straw bale guest houses and teach riding at the Corti Gardesane Stables.
Even though we come from very different backgrounds and life experiences we met thanks to our love of horses, nature, beauty and art. We both need to be near nature to stay balanced and for our personal sense of well-being.
Nature is our sole supplier.
For us, connecting with Nature is an intense and immediate way to connect with ourselves. With Casa Viva we have created a space where others may return to this often forgotten and profound simplicity.
A more ecological world is possible.
We live in a historical moment that needs us to reevaluate the way we live demanding us to safeguard our surrounding environment. Here at Casa Viva we wish that others may discover that living closely and more in tune with nature is possible.

Closeby you will find the pure water of ‘Leela’ our bio pool.
‘Leela’ our bio pool is an ecosystem where aquatic plants and water lillies filter and oxygenate the water of the pool. Along with the insects and the plants the bio pool is an ecosystem and requires a certain attention and care when swimming.
Maintaining the balance of the ecosystem is of utmost importance. For this reason the use of sun creams is forbidden.
Leela means divine, creative, play and mirrors the ecosystem of our planet. Plant and insect life maintain the purity of the water. If the balance of the ecosystem is disturbed the water of the pool loses it’s purity.
